Bad Points

Nothing major really, maybe just the small test drive & waiting time, but went to the restaurant had a coffee, a lovely fresh cake and watched the World Cup!!!

General Comments

After doing a massive amount of research on both the internet, news papers, magazines & review in What Car Magazine that on average Car Giant were 10% cheaper that other car supermarkets. I decided to go to Car Giant. I was open minded on what car to purchase and had a budget of about £6000. On entry I got a stocklist at the reception of all there vehicles within my budget... No joke it was about 600 cars so had to narrow this down. I looked at Audis, Renaults, Seats, Fords, Vauxhalls, Volkswagens, Fiats, Peugeots, Hondas, Mazdas, Minis, Toyotas & EVEN BMW & MERCEDES in my price range! Their site is absolutely massive you could easily get lost for days! I narrowed down my choice to 4 vehicles a Renault Megane New Shape, VW Golf 1.6 SE, Peugeot 307 Or a Vaux Corsa (All 5 with door & air cond). After faily short test drives on all 4 vehicles and some advise from a few of the salesmen I decided to purchase the Peugeot 307 1.6 Raper 2004 with 25,000mls for £5799 in silver. I placed a deposit obtained same day finance with a competitve apr... may I add. Once the finance was all agreed & I confimed my insurance I want to take the vehicle, but they wouldn't allow me to until they completed a 114 point check... I was abit up set that I couldn't drive away after the finance was agreed, but this was assured that all vehicle must go through this procedure. I went to there restaurant bought a cake, coffee & watched the World Cup! 2 days following I had a small issue with some sort of light which appeared on the dash board, I called their aftersales who told me to take the vehicle to my local Peugeot dealer (Who had virtually the same car on there show room for £1200 more!!!) and Car Giant covered the £400 bill for some sort of censor... All in All I would definitely recommend cargaint & will purchase my next from there.
